FAQ’s
What to wear? Anything you are comfortable in and can move freely in. Layering your clothing is a good idea as you can get rather warm dancing. Some folks wear gym-like clothes for example. Jeans and T’s are also perfectly fine. Just be you!
Footwear? Wear shoes you would be comfy going off walking in. Sneakers are ideal when starting out.
I’m new to line dancing what tips can you give me? Best advise I can offer is:
- Don’t put too much pressure on yourself… it’s about having fun!
- Position yourself towards the front and in the middle of a row on the dance floor.
- Never be afraid to ask your instructor to repeat a step, or to ask them questions. Instructors LOVE to be asked questions.
